At USBA we are a true partner with our members. We are built to help community banks succeed in the 21st century.
At USBA we are providing our banks with tools and programs necessary to help them build the communities they are in.
At USBA we are providing our banks access to a national network of businesses, all aligned to bring local customers everyday.
The United States Bankers Association is guided by two primary leaderships groups. The Leadership Council and General Advisory Board. These two groups provide full guidance for all of the membership committees and sub-area groups.
USBA Leader Council:
The Leader Council is the guiding executive council for USBA. Its membership consists of sixteen members divided into three groups. The first group is made up of four representatives from Allied Membership. The second group is made up of four representatives from Primary Membership. The remaining eight at large members members come from the primary groups as well as academia, government and the general community.
USBA General Advisory Board:
The USBA General Advisory Board includes all members of the Leaders Council, and up to twenty six additional members from each category of the Leaders Council. Total membership of the General Advisory Board is forty two.
Leadership Meetings:
The Leaders Council is scheduled to meet six times a year, including two live meetings, and four tele-meetings. The entire Advisory Board is scheduled to meet three times a year, including one live meeting, and two tele-meetings.
Additional Leadership:
There are numerous other committees and subject area groups as selected from the general membership by the Leadership Council. These groups meet as determined by each group leader. Participation in these is usually virtual format and not considered part of the independent formal meeting structure. However several committees and section groups will hold meetings, facilitate activities, and host meetings/sessions at the USBA Bank World Annual Conference.
USBA Standing Committees:
USBA has four standing general committees that work directly with USBA to shape content, benefits and programs, through ongoing organization building activities within their committees.
