The United States Bankers Association, is a diverse association of dynamic organizations shaping the future innovation of the banking industry.  The association’s strength is the breadth of its membership ranging from local banks to influential technology companies. Together, they account for millions of  private sector jobs in the United States and contribute billions to the national economy. Through collaboration, we work to find solutions to issues affecting our members' customers economic vitality and quality of life. 

USBA effectively implements our members vision by championing public and private policies, measures, and initiatives at the local, state, and federal level. Through policy expertise and an outcome driven philosophy, the organization strives to advance proactive solutions in the areas that affect our members and their communities. 

Our Mission 

USBA offers a pathway for banks to cross the chasm of size and resources into a new-world banking ecosystem. USBA members can compete in and protect their market sectors on an even playing field with all other institutions. They can meet the demands of new markets, discount the expense of new technologies and exploit the opportunities of new customer expectations. USBA helps member banks to grow, be more resilient, more profitable, fully wired, and ready to help customers meet the challenges and opportunities of the mid 21st Century. 

Further, the United States Bankers Association's mission is to engage CEOs and senior officers, who compete in a U.S economy in proactive, positive efforts that strengthen the banking industry and “Community America’s” competitiveness for the innovation economy as well as benefit the businesses, their employees, families and communities in which our member companies operate and their employees live and work.
